Survival

I survived my first chaotic week at work. This is definitely not my dream job, but it makes the day go by quickly at least. I am amazed at the difference between this school and my last school. I don't know if it is the age or the environment, but the kids seem to be much better behaved (even pleasant and respectful). It's just the parents that cause me grief, which is I think a normal pitfall to working in education.

In two weeks, I will be responsible for supervising and leading the freshmen class into building a Cinderella-themed float for homecoming...I'm sure that will give me more exciting things to blog about...and maybe by then we'll be connected to the internet at the house and I could actually blog without lugging the laptop to Jen and Ron's house.
